Late Breaking . . . Tommy Hahn injured

Lady Luck is a cold mistress . . . Bad luck has struck Tommy again while practicing before the Unadilla National.

Tommy was at Masterpool’s track in Texas putting one last practice session before heading out to NY when he crashed hard. He sustained a dislocated shoulder and a cracked T3 vertebra from the crash. Due to the remote area where the track is located, Tommy had to be airlifted by helicopter to the nearest hospital for treatment.

Tommy later tweeted that his injuries will not need immediate surgery and he was in Texas, not at Unadilla as some people tweeted earlier. No word on recovery time, but he might miss the last rounds of the motocross series.

We wish you a speedy recovery . . . Go Tommy Go.
